Counseling
Providing counseling to individuals (children, adolescents, adults) and their families by using therapeutic techniques to address emotional and behavioral needs. Issues that will be addressed will include depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, behavioral disorders, family conflict, low-self esteem, anger management and other struggles the individual is facing.
Therapeutic Mentoring (not covered by insurance)
Therapeutic Mentoring offers structured, one-to-one strength-based support services between a therapeutic mentor or counselor and a youth under the age of 21 for the purpose of addressing daily living, social and communication needs, coping skills and decision making skills. Services include supporting, guiding, coaching, and training the youth in age-appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution. Participants also learn to relate appropriately to other children, adolescents and adults.
Family-Based Supportive Services (not covered by insurance)
Family-based services take place in the home, community and other needed locations. They are designed to work with children who are at risk of placement out of the home and are also available to support family reunification once a child has been removed from the home. Family-based services maintains a commitment to work in partnership with families to identify strengths and capacity for positive change. Family-based services may include:
- Individual and/or family therapy
- Coordination with other agencies and providers involved
- Supervised visitations between child and family
- Support for the parents in the implementation of behavior management techniques and parenting strategies to address problem behaviors

$140 Initial Evaluation
$100 for each 53 minute counseling session

Meeting with a Resident in Counseling
If you do not have insurance, we have a Counseling Resident/Intern who can see you for a reduced fee.
