What is e-Counseling?

E-Counseling is the delivery of counseling services via the Internet.  People also know it as online therapy, Internet therapy, Distance therapy, live-chat therapy,  and web therapy. It is a relatively new method of helping individuals to resolve various conflicts and concerns, like everyday life and relationship issues. Many choose to use e-Counseling to work through problems pertaining to their relationships with others, or as a method of developing new ways of coping with day-to-day stress. Other clients use e-Counseling as a supplement to other types of services, or to help clarify other issues they are currently working on.
